Position Overview

Thrive Career Wellness is seeking an experienced and strategic VP of Marketing to join our leadership team in Toronto. The VP of Marketing will report directly to the Chief Customer Officer and will be responsible for developing and executing a programmatic approach to engage partners, drive leads, and support our sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner & Channel Marketing: Develop and execute marketing strategies that effectively communicate with partners and their customers, focusing on scalable and repeatable methods to drive leads from our various channels.
  • Programmatic Approach: Design and implement a systematic approach to partner engagement, ensuring consistent and impactful communication across all channels.
  • Marketing KPIs: Establish, monitor, and report on key marketing performance indicators, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Deep Ecosystem Understanding: Leverage your extensive knowledge of the HR ecosystem and enterprise buyer personas/cycles to inform marketing strategies and drive success.
  • Enhance Brand Recognition: Develop and implement strategies to increase Thrive's brand recognition within the HR and career wellness space, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Content Creation & Strategy: Lead the creation of compelling content, including case studies, white papers, and thought leadership pieces, that showcases the impact and value of Thrive’s solutions to potential and existing partners.
  • Event Management: Engage partners and customers through strategic event planning and execution, drive lead generation, and measure ROI to ensure event success and alignment with business objectives.
  • Leverage Case Studies: Work closely with sales and customer success teams to develop case studies that highlight successful client partnerships and outcomes, using these assets to support sales efforts and enhance credibility with prospective partners.
  • 0 to 1 Execution: Be hands-on in driving execution from 0 to 1, working with individual contributors (ICs) and agencies, while ensuring that strategic goals are met.
  • Leadership and People Management: Manage a team of three direct reports, each focusing on specific areas such as asset/content creation, sales support, and product marketing. As part of the leadership team, contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in partner/channel marketing, with a proven ability to execute both ‘marketing to’ and ‘marketing through’ motions.
  • Ideally, experience in marketing a B2B Saas product
  • Strong ability to differentiate and tailor marketing approaches for various partners, understanding the unique needs of each.
  • Deep knowledge of the HR ecosystem, including enterprise buyer personas and decision-making cycles.
  • Demonstrated capability in driving initiatives from concept (0) to full execution (1), with a hands-on approach.
  • Leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing marketing teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.

Compensation

$175,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
